Project Task object

The Project Task is a Principal Item that represents a single task in a Project Schedule.

Usage

Use a Project Task to perform such tasks as the following:

• Retrieving information about a Task, such as description, start date, or duration.

• Submitting a progress report.

• Retrieving status information about the Task and all of the previously submitted Progress Reports.
